The headset simply disconnects and reconnects after about 15 seconds. I've also tried the reset button on the side of the usb receiver multiple times to no avail. I've tried that multiple times now, so I'm seemingly stumped. I searched all over and only found one case that seemed similar to my issue, and the user fixed it be reinstalling the software. All of these products have worked together fine until recently. The G930 headset, a G400s mouse, a cheap set of USB speakers that are just plug and play, and a DFGT steering wheel which runs on an old version of the Logitech software that is separate. The microphone also stays lit no matter what location it is in, but luckily it seems to be unmuted and still in working order. I then tried the most recent version of the software 8.88.30 and while this seemed to fix the surround sound, all the buttons still do not work and I get annoying feedback from the headset which seems to occur with all the new versions of the software. However, with this version of the software the surround sound stopped working altogether when this issue came up. The older version that had been almost perfect for me was 8.45.88.0. I've tried various versions of the Logitech Gaming Software. The power button, volume controls, microphone mute, and G-keys are all completely unresponsive. No matter what I do, all of the buttons on my G930s will no longer work. I've had a ton of issues with my G930s over the year and a half that I've had them, but I've been able to find workarounds for just about everything. I'm having an odd issue out of nowhere with my G930 headset.
